Amman, Cairo discuss investment cooperation

AMMAN — Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) President Thabet Elwir on Monday met with Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and reviewed investment opportunities and incentives in the Kingdom.
On the sidelines of the ninth meeting of the Jordanian-Egyptian business council in Cairo, Elwir acquainted Nasr with government procedures to attract investments into the Kingdom.
The two-day council meeting, which concluded on Monday, aimed at discussing investment opportunities in Jordan and Egypt, especially in the renewable energy and ICT sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
