AMMAN — Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, in partnership with the US-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), held on Monday the closing graduation ceremony for Al Aman graduates in Al Quds College.
The ceremony celebrated the graduation of 50 orphan students from Amman and Madaba who were awarded scholarships as part of MEPI, according to a statement released by Al Aman Fund on Tuesday.
At the ceremony, Al Aman commended the US State Department’s MEPI for its steady support and commitment to the fund, highlighting that the initiative provided similar grants in 2011 and 2012. Al Aman Fund was institutionalised in 2006 by Her Majesty Queen Rania. Since then, over 2,942 orphans have benefited from its initiatives, the statement said.
