Airplane traffic at QAIA increased in July — CARC

AMMAN — Airplane traffic at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in July grew by 36 per cent compared with June, Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Chief Commissioner Captain Haitham Misto said on Monday.
Misto told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that July witnessed a total of 5,359 flights, increasing the total number of flights since the beginning of the year to 20,569 that connected the Kingdom with 68 direct international destinations.
Passenger movement in July increased 60 per cent compared with June, the chief commissioner said, noting that arrivals constituted 58 per cent of the total number of passengers of around 622,000.
