Air force plane crashes, two pilots dead

AMMAN — A Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) training aircraft crashed Monday morning resulting in the death of two pilots.
According to a statement issued by the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) – The Arab Army, the pilots killed in the crash of the Firefly trainer were Lt.-Colonel Ibrahim Hassouneh and student pilot Laith Nasser, an Iraqi national.
JAF Spokesperson Colonel Mamdouh Ameri said the aircraft crashed while on a routine training mission.
