Agriculture Ministry, KOSPO organise tree planting event

AMMAN — The Agriculture Ministry and Korea Southern Power (KOSPO) - Jordan hosted a tree planting event on Monday. Deputising for Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat, Khalid Alqdah and KOSPO-Jordan CEO Gyeong-Sam Kim attended the event at the entrance of the KOSPO-Jordan Al Qatrana power plant and in the surrounding area, according to a statement from the organisers.
The event is part of the "Future Green Jordan Project", a memorandum of understanding signed by the parties in October. Additionally, KOSPO installed water recycling collection facilities and water supply pipes and started supplying water for planting.
