Agricultural exports to Iraq increasing — ministry

AMMAN — Exports of fruit and vegetables to the Iraqi market are increasing, Agriculture Ministry Spokesperson Nimer Haddadin said on Thursday, noting that the Kingdom exports 3,800 tonnes of produce to the Iraqi market daily.
Haddadin noted that six refrigerated trucks carried 300 tonnes of peaches to Iraq on Wednesday. The spokesperson told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that exports transit through Kuwait on the way to Basra in southern Iraq.
