Agreement signed to prepare natural resources map

AMMAN — The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Tajanus Company on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding to prepare a natural resources map to enhance the Kingdom's investment opportunities.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, who signed the agreement with the company's general director, Khalil Abu Al Rub, said that the two-year memo stipulates that the company shall conduct an electromagnetic survey across the Kingdom to develop a map to reveal the presence of mineral resources, to be used for exploration purposes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
