Agreement signed to develop tourist project at Zara hot springs

AMMAN — The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG) and Al Sakhinah for Tourist Investments on Thursday signed an agreement to develop a tourist investment project at the Zara hot springs  with comprehensive tourist and treatment services.

JFDZG Chairman Khalaf Hmeisat said that the group continues with its endeavours to enhance the capabilities of tourist development zones through the creation of diversified economic projects in line with government directives, according to a recent JFDZG statement.

JFDZG Director General Arwa Hiari noted that the project will provide over 200 permanent jobs upon operation with an expected investment volume of JD25 million. General Manager of Al Sakhinah for Tourist Investments Haitham Al Sheikh highlighted the historical importance of the Dead Sea due its unique treatment characteristics which attract visitors from across the world.
