AMMAN — Another Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) aid plane took off towards Aleppo International Airport to deliver humanitarian assistance to those affected by the earthquakes through UN agencies operating in northern Syria, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

The ministry's spokesperson, Sinan Majali, said that in compliance with Royal directives, the Kingdom continues to send assistance to support the relief efforts following the earthquakes that struck Syria and Turkey.

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) is preparing to dispatch land convoys with medical and humanitarian supplies, and is coordinating with the ministry to ensure their delivery to the affected regions, the statement read.

On Wednesday, the Kingdom sent an aid aircraft that arrived at Damascus International Airport and another that landed at Turkey’s Adana International Airport, the ministry added.
