Activists express solidarity with prisoners in Israel

AMMAN — The National Committee for Jordanian Prisoners in Israel, in cooperation with the engineers committee for Palestine and Jerusalem, staged a sit-in on Sunday, voicing their rejection of administrative detention.
Abdullah Obeidat, president of the Jordan Engineers Association, said the step is in support of Palestinian steadfastness and all captives, especially those who have been on hunger strike for around 40 days, calling on the government to shoulder its responsibility towards Jordanians imprisoned in Israel.
