ACC discusses bilateral cooperation with Tunisian ambassador

AMMAN — The Amman Chamber of Commerce’s (ACC) board of directors on Sunday discussed with Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Khalid Suhaili means to bolster bilateral cooperation.
The meeting, held at the ACC’s headquarters, recommended setting up specialised committees to address various challenges that hinder trade exchange between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The meeting also called for boosting tourism cooperation opportunities, facilitating tourist flow between the two countries and promoting Tunisia as a tourist attraction through Jordanian tourism companies affiliated with the ACC, in addition to promoting Jordan as a tourist attraction through the Tunisian tourism companies.
Both sides emphasised the importance of conducting a study of the goods and products that could be traded between the two countries, as well as the establishment of a permanent fair for Jordanian products and industries in Tunisia and another one for Tunisian products in the Jordan, Petra reported.
