Academic training for ‘Eager Lion’ military drill starts

AMMAN — Academic training for the “Eager Lion 2015” military drill, which is slated for next month, started at the Jordanian Peacekeeping Operations Training Centre on Monday.
The training includes seminars and workshops on planning and preparations for the military drill.
The Eager Lion military drill, which has been carried out in Jordan for five years, now is a global military exercise in which armies of different countries take part.

The “Eager Lion” military training drill will kick off on May 25 with participants from 24 countries.
The Jordan-hosted “Eager Lion” international military drill kicked off on Sunday with the participation of 22 countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Chairman of the Joint Chief-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben on Tuesday met with Maj. Gen. Rick Mattson, the director of the US Central Command’s exercises and training division.
