85 defendants in drug cases urged to turn themselves in

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday gave a respite of 10 days to 85 defendants in cases of possession, sale and smuggling of drugs, to turn themselves in to the authorities. Otherwise, the SSC will consider the defendants fugitives, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
According to the decision, the court will freeze the defendants’ assets. SSC directed security personnel to arrest the defendants on sight.
