80 journalists competing in syndicate’s excellence awards

AMMAN — Around 80 journalists have applied to the King Hussein Award for Excellence in Journalism, Jordan Press Association (JPA) President Tareq Momani said Wednesday.
Awards will be given to the best investigative report, news story, opinion piece, photo, televised report, cartoon, TV programme and interview, according to the JPA.
The syndicate’s council will form a specialised committee to look into the applications and announce the winners
