7th Royal Medical Services conference opens

DEAD SEA — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, HRH Prince Feisal on Tuesday attended the inauguration ceremony of the seventh international conference of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) and the fourth Pan-Arab Regional Working Group Congress of Military Medicine for the International Committee of Military Medicine.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, RMS Director Maj. Gen. Khalaf Sarhan said the RMS will establish a new hospital with 25 operating rooms to ease the burden of other hospitals.
Around 4,000 participants are attending the three-day event during which they will discuss several medical issues.
Health Minister Ali Hiasat and other senior officials and officers also attended the opening ceremony.

The seventh International Conference of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) is scheduled to open next week at the Dead Sea, featuring 300 local and international panellists and speakers, in addition to 4,000 participants from 47 countries, organisers said.
Royal Medical Services (RMS) Director Maj. Gen. Khalaf Sarhan will hold a press conference on Wednesday to announce the seventh international conference of the RMS and the fourth conference of the Arab Regional Group for Military Medicine.
