70-year-old man, wife killed in Irbid road accident

IRBID — A 70-year-old man and his wife died when a car hit them on Saturday after the taraweeh prayer near Shuhada Circle in Irbid, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).
Traffic accidents last week resulted in the death of 17 people and the injury of 670 in the northern governorate, Irbid CDD Director Brig. Gen. Munib Awawdeh said Sunday.
