503 administrative detainees to be released for Eid Al Fitr

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Faraya on Sunday instructed administrative governors to release 503 administrative detainees on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
The Interior Ministry said that the procedure followed a detailed consideration after which it was determined that releasing these detainees will not pose any threat to security or public order, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry added that the decision is intended to allow the detainees to reengage with society and lead normal lives with their families.
