AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality’s Al Hussein Park received more than 50,000 visitors during the Eid Al Adha holiday last week, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.

The public space’s director, Nebal Qattan, said residents of the capital and other governorates, in addition to Jordanians living abroad and foreign tourists were among the visitors.

He added that Al Hussein Park, which spans an area of 750 dunums, houses sporting facilities and spaces for social activities and gatherings, as well as play areas for children.

He called on visitors to use the designated car parks and not to litter or tamper with public property.
