‘43 bogus companies caught by inspectors’

AMMAN — Labour Ministry and Social Security Corporation (SSC) joint inspection committees have conducted 109 field visits since the beginning of January, visiting 1,353 companies, 43 of which were bogus, 21 were caught violating the Labour Law and 15 violating the SSC Law.
The violations include employing guest workers illegally or not registering workers with the SSC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted Labour Ministry Spokesperson Mohammad Al Khatib as saying, adding that legal measures were taken against violators to have them rectify their status.
