2015 population census vital for policy making — Fakhoury

AMMAN — Planning Minister Imad Fakhoury on Wednesday called for realising the importance of local statistical work and appreciating the achievements of the Department of Statistics, which has grown into a specialised regional centre, according to a Planning Ministry statement.
During a visit to the department, Fakhoury stressed the importance of conducting the national population and housing census for 2015 policy making, the statement said.
