1st phase of tourism ‘dashboard’ project completed by EBRD, UNWTO

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Makram Qaisi said that the first phase of the “tourism sector’s dashboard project”, developed with funding from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), was completed in collaboration with the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and the ministry.
The dashboard project is part of a bigger plan that aims to speed up the restoration of tourism in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The dashboard includes key indicators of the tourism sector, such as international visitors and their spending, tourist accommodation institutions, tourist sites, details of workforce in the tourism sector and the domestic tourism programme "Urdun Jannah".
