1st cardiac catheterisation conducted at Karak Public Hospital

AMMAN — The Ministry of Health and Royal Medical Services (RMS) on Saturday conducted the first cardiac catheterisation operation at the Karak Public Hospital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a statement, the ministry said that bolstering cooperation with the RMS include employing RMS staff to meet the needs of the Ministry of Health.
In return, the Ministry of Health would provide proper infrastructure in Karak Public Hospital to be used by RMS personnel.
Through cooperating with the RMS and the private sector, the catheterisation unit at Karak Public Hospital will operate seven days a week and for emergency cases at any time, in addition to providing cardiac care clinics on Mondays and Thursdays.
