189,410 students to sit for Tawjihi

AMMAN — The General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) 2023 session will begin on Tuesday for 189,410 students, with a total of 145,458 students taking the exam on the first day and will conclude on the 25th of this month. Among this year’s Tawjihi students, 126,271 are conventional students and 63,139 are private-study applicants, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The national exam will be held in 1,856 halls in 766 schools throughout the Kingdom, with 42 additional halls being reserved in case of emergency. The Tawjihi exam will be held across two sessions per day, with the first beginning at 10am and the second at 1pm.
