150,000 people visit food expo

AMMAN — A total of 150,000 people visited the Jordan Food 2015 five-day exhibition, which concluded on Saturday, Foodstuff Traders Association (FTA) President Khalil Haj Tawfiq said Sunday.
Tawfiq said trade deals were signed for the local, regional, and international markets between manufacturers, exhibitors, importers, retail traders and mall owners. He added that agreements were signed with countries like Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait and the US to purchase local products. The event was organised by the FTA in cooperation with the International Promoters Company.
