1,500 olive oil bottles from UAE denied entry

AMMAN — The Ministry of Agriculture rejected the entry of 1,500 olive oil bottles to the Kingdom for not meeting the Jordanian standards, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry’s technical committee, which tested the olive oil bottles, recommended that the shipment be denied entry to the Kingdom and be re-exported or destroyed and that the importer incur the cost.
