‘109 teachers receive awards for excellence’

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Minister of Education Mohammad Thneibat on Saturday attended a ceremony held by the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education to honour excelling personnel in the sector.
During the ceremony, the fourth batch of teachers and the second batch of educational advisers at the directorate level received certificates of appreciation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A total of 109 teachers and 12 advisers received certificates. Lubna Touqan, the director of the teachers’ award association, said the association is keen to improve the morale of educationalists and urge them to work harder, so as to reach higher levels of excellence.
