AMMAN — Social Security Corporation (SSC) Spokesperson Musa Sbeihi on Saturday said that the SSC was worried about the increasing number of subscribed Jordanian women switching to the one payment compensation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Sbeihi said that the number of women applying for the one payment compensation during the first nine months of this year reached 10,695. The spokesperson attributed this trend to marriage, divorce and widowing.
The spokesperson urged all subscribed Jordanian women to maintain their subscriptions with the SSC through their employers or through optional subscription, noting that it is "an umbrella that protects their future and their families'".
Sbeihi added that citizens could contact the SSC for any inquiry through its website (www.SSC.gov.jo) or its social media platforms and the corporation’s e-mail webmaster@ssc.gov.jo.
