‘Living Guard’ face mask price set at JD14.5

AMMAN — The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) on Tuesday set the selling price of the “Living Guard” face masks from Fine Hygienic Holding, which include a filter, at JD14.5 per mask.

According to a statement made available to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the decision to set the price of the masks came in response to an increasing demand on masks, and complies with Defence Law No. 13 of 1992.

The masks’ price was set due to the JFDA’s keenness to provide masks to citizens at a fair price and to prevent monopoly.

The JFDA called on the public to immediately contact its WhatsApp number (0795632000), its toll-free number (117114) or its social media accounts, all of which are available round-the-clock, to register complaints or comments.
