The Amman Design Week started a few days ago. The exhibition showcases the work and creativity of renowned as well as new, young, Jordanian artists.
The things on display, in particular the ones in the hangar, are a blend of modernity and tradition, reflecting the exposure of the young artists to the best in the world while keeping their heritage and traditions.
Equally impressive is the organisation of the event. From being escorted while crossing a very busy street to being transported to other venues of the exhibit via a free shuttle, it all reflects international standards of punctuality, courtesy and order.
This first-time event made me feel so proud that we in Jordan can achieve such high-quality functions.
Well done to the people behind it!
