Delightful

I was lucky to be able to attend last Wednesday a concert supported by King Abdullah II Fund for Development.
The concert was a symphony composed and conducted by Ra’ad Al Zaben as his graduate project in music composition studies at Jordan University.
The first violinist was my 16-year-old granddaughter Selene Kishek.
“Al Shaheed Symphony” was really marvellous and moved everybody in the theatre.
It is astonishing that such work should be done and produced by young Jordanians.
It is a delight that Jordanians now can taste their own classical music, composed, conducted and played by their own young generation.
