‘Deepest sympathies’

Although I am separated by language, religion and distance, I would like to express my sympathy to Lt. Kasasbeh’s wife, family and friends for his cruel and untimely death.

He sought to bring honour to himself and his family and instead his life was cut short in a cruel fashion by animals with no place in civilised society.

I cannot begin to imagine the terror of his last minutes and the distress of his wife and family.

I seek to express my deepest sympathies. 

I stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Jordan in fighting against this scourge on our civilised society.
