Children should not have to suffer
Aug 21,2016 - Last updated at Aug 21,2016
The iconic photo of 5-year-old Omran Daqneesh from Aleppo, dirty, bloodied, awaiting help and too traumatised to cry, says it all.
If only the world could stop for 30 minutes on any given day and every person on earth quietly, tearfully and in deep silence would look at that picture…
Let the reality of war, the pain of children, especially refugee children, touch us, move us.
World leaders, warring factions, peacekeepers and terrorists, mothers and fathers… that picture speaks to our hearts and minds.
What can I do, what must we do, what must each and every one of us do so that other children do not suffer like Omran?
