RJ hosts needy individuals for Iftar

May 21,2019 - Last updated at May 21,2019

As part of its Ramadan campaign this year, Royal Jordanian (RJ), in partnership with the Tkiyet Um Ali charity organisation, distributed food parcels to tens of needy families living in Madaba.

RJ volunteering employees also visited the homes of needy families in the Umm Al Rassass area, where poverty, lack of minimum services and deprivation prevail.

Moreover, RJ organised an Iftar for 70 visually impaired individuals in Zarqa, in which several RJ employees from different departments took part. Eid items of clothing were also distributed to the attendees.

Yesterday, RJ also sponsored one day of “Mawaed Al Rahman” Iftar banquets, which Tkiyet Um Ali holds every Ramadan.

This time, more than 2,000 individuals attended the Iftar, where RJ volunteers served Iftar meals to these beneficiaries. RJ’s Ramadan Campaign is a yearly ritual that includes many charity and goodwill activities that cater to the needs of many people who live under difficult economic conditions.
