Royal Jordanian signed a bimodal partnership agreement with SNCF’s (French National Railway Company) TGV AIR, underwhich Royal Jordanian (RJ) passengers will benefit from a pre- and post-transportation service by TGV from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport to 19 French cities, in addition to Brussels: The code share agreement will come into effect on September 3.
This TGV AIR railway service offers air passengers the opportunity to travel to TGV destinations based on a single, combined, TGV and RJ ticket, with a single fare and a single reservation at an attractive price.
Passengers can book a train seat through all RJ sales channels and connect to many cities via SNCF's high-speed network.
In remarks, RJ CEO Stefan Pichler said: "Our desire is to serve and expand our network, and provide our customers with various services beyond air transport.”
This partnership demonstrates RJ's commitment to adopting the services TGV AIR offer as a major tool in its overall strategy, which aims to provide more travel options to its passengers, he added.
