On May 11, the government launched the ‘Jordan 2025’ vision. The launch of the 10-year development blueprint was attended by His Majesty King Abdullah
Also in May, Jordan hosted the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the eastern shores of the Dead Sea for the ninth time
On May 22, Jordan signed a total of 19 agreements at the WEF Dead Sea meeting, at an investment volume of $8.5 billion
On September 10, Jordan and China announced the signing of a number of investment agreements worth over $7 billion. The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the 2015 China-Arab States Expo in Yinchuan

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday attended the launch of "Jordan 2025", the 10-year blueprint for economic and social development.
The steering committee entrusted with supervising the preparations of a framework for the Kingdom’s economic and social policies, dubbed “2015 vision”, convened on Saturday to review the 10-year action plans prepared by its subcommittees to address economic challenges.
The Cabinet has approved the proposed work mechanism for drawing up “Jordan 2025” — a comprehensive social and economic blueprint for the Kingdom, Planning Ministry Secretary General Saleh Kharabsheh said Saturday.
